It is a set of actions aimed at promoting a culture of safety and health at work in our country, raising the awareness of the population in order to prevent accidents and damage to health as a result of work.
With preventive action, and the promotion of a safe and healthy work environment through effective identification, evaluation and control actions, CANPAT, whose origins in 1971, is linked to SIPAT – Week for the Prevention of Accidents at Work, established in 1953.
On April 28, the International Labor Organization established the World Safety Day
and Health at Work, as a result of an accident at a factory in the United States, which killed dozens of workers. Brazil, in support of accident prevention and out of respect for the injured, instituted, also on April 28, the National Day in Memory of Victims of Work Accidents.
We are all responsible for preventing accidents and occupational diseases, company, workers and society, helping to save lives!!
